Mickey's Christmas Carol Uncle Scrooge McDuck Concept Art (Walt Disney, 1983). This Master concept painting featuring Scrooge McDuck as his name-sake Ebenezer Scrooge was used for the opening credits in the Academy Award-nominated short film. This was Mickey Mouse's big return to the big screen, as it was the first original Mickey Mouse theatrical cartoon produced in over 30 years! A similar painting to this can be seen at the "And the Creative Talents of" opening credits section at about the 1:16 mark. This magnificent painting is produced in watercolor over printed line art. The matching 16 field 3-peghole line test cel is included on the reverse side. The painting is matted to 15.5" x 11" and in a gorgeous 27" x 23" glass front frame. There is a small chip and crack in the top of the frame, however the painting is in Fine condition.
