Description

Mickey Mouse Gulliver Mickey One Sheet Concept Art (Walt Disney, 1934). An extremely detailed graphite drawing of a pie-eyed Mickey Mouse surrounded by Lilliputians dominates this preliminary image for a studio publicity one sheet for this black and white animated short directed by Burt Gillett. It was from near the end of Mickey's pie-eyed period. Any artwork created for a Disney one sheet theatrical poster is quite rare. This is one of the few we have ever seen from this era. Mickey is a nice 7" tall in the 7" x 10.75" image area on the 12 field 2-peghole animation paper turned vertical. Pinholes in the corners with edge wear and light tanning, it is otherwise in Fine condition.
