Michael Jacksons' Neverland Ranch - "Pixie Village and Castle" Proposed Theme Park Original 32" x 15" Concept Art by Eric Heschong for Landmark Entertainment (LEG, 1999). This original concept/pitch art was created by Landmark Entertainment Group in the 1990s for Michael Jackson's ambitious Neverland theme park proposal. Rendered in gouache on 32" x 15" illustration board by renowned illustrator Eric Heschong, the piece depicts a whimsical pixie village and castle, complete with oversized mushrooms, butterflies, and bumble bees. Designed as part of a publicly accessible, Disneyland-style park at Jackson's Santa Ynez Valley estate, the scene captures the playful fantasy atmosphere Jackson sought for his dream destination. In the early-mid 1990s, following Landmark's acclaimed successes on Jurassic Park: The Ride and T2:3D for Universal, the company became a premier creative studio for large-scale, IP-driven projects. Jackson, already operating his private Neverland Ranch with rides and a zoo, approached Gary Goddard and Landmark to create a full master plan for an expanded theme park. Proposed attractions included Mermaid Lagoon, Skull Rock, and Neverland Castle, with Heschong's artwork visualizing their imaginative scale. This rare, unsigned original concept survives as a testament to Jackson's unbuilt dream and Landmark's visionary design.
