    Mary Blair Peter Pan Never Land at Night Concept/Color Key Painting (Walt Disney, 1953) Mary Blair was Color Stylist/Art Director on this film, along with John Hench, Claude Coats, and Don DaGradi. In the book The Art and Flair of Mary Blair: An Appreciation by John Canemaker, he writes "Blair's mastery of light evokes different times of the day and moods at various Never Land locations." This is an outstanding Mary Blair (1911 - 1978) oversized concept/Color Key painting of Never Land at night. It shows small silhouettes of four Lost Boys sneaking around the woods, looking for Indians, with Tiger Lily and her father's village high upon a mountain top in the foreground. A stunning study in color! Gouache on illustration board measuring 21" x 8.5". Tack holes in all corners and minor handling wear. In Very Good condition.
