Mary Blair Cinderella Original Concept Painting (Walt Disney, 1950). "Put them together and what have you got? Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo!" In the book, Walt Disney's Cinderella by Cynthia Rylant, illustrated with pictures by Mary Blair, it reads "Cinderella did not want to tell her fairy godmothers what she longed for. She did not have to ask for anything at all. Those things which were meant for her found her. A pumpkin in the garden became a coach. Four mice in the grasses became horses. And a child of rags became a vision." This is an outstanding Mary Blair original concept painting of the Fairy Godmother turning the pumpkin into a coach. Classic Mary Blair! Gouache on light board. Stunning image of the Fairy Godmother measuring 9". Artwork is in a frame of 14.5" x 14", with a mat opening of 9" x 8". This piece showcases Mary Blair at her best. Frame is sold as-is. Artwork has minor handling. Otherwise, Very Good condition.
