Mary Blair Cinderella Concept Painting (Walt Disney, 1950). "Now it seems you have some time on your hands" says Lady Tremaine to Cinderella in the most frightening scene in this classic Disney fairytale. It comes at around the 23:00 mark, after Cinderella asks if she can attend the ball. This original concept/Color Key painting by Mary Blair (1911 - 1978) captures this chilling moment perfectly. It's masterfully painted in gouache on 10" x 9" board. Mary Blair is revered as one of Disney studio's top color stylists of all time and this painting is an excellent example of her gift in capturing a mood through color. This one-of-a-kind painting features the title character and villain together in a key scene. Minor handling and pinholes in corners. Condition is Very Good.
