    Description

Mary Blair Cinderella Concept Painting (Walt Disney, 1950). "Cinderella and the Prince danced into a private world all their own. They did not speak." (from Walt Disney's Cinderella Retold by Cynthia Rylant, 2007). This is an outstanding original story/concept painting of Cinderella and the Prince, dancing outside the castle. It's an unusually large concept art painting from Mary Blair, opaque watercolors on paper measuring 12" x 10" and mounted to a 15" x 12" backing board. A stunning masterpiece. Most likely used as a reference piece by Retta Scott for her Cinderella Little Golden Book illustrations. Fine condition. From the Retta Scott Archives.
