    Description

Mary Blair Alice in Wonderland Concept Painting (Walt Disney, 1951). "Well, I've had enough nonsense. I'm going home, straight home!" says Alice as she walks upon the Tulgey Wood, where she meets some very odd characters. It is also where the Jabberwock lives. This is a stunning Mary Blair original concept painting of the Tulgey Wood, done in gouache on board measuring 7.75" x 6.25". Pinholes in the corners, and #8 lightly written in the bottom left corner. From longtime Disney artist Joe Hale's collection. He has written on the back, "Mary Blair for 'Alice in Wonderland'" and he has signed the back. Great graphics on the signs. Minor handling wear. Very Good condition. From the Joe Hale Archives.
