Marvin the Martian Warner Brothers Studio Store Concept Drawings Group of 3 (Warner Brothers, c. 1991-2001). The Warner Brothers Studio Stores first opened in 1991. This adult toy store, filled with Warner Brothers and Hanna-Barbera property merchandise, grew fast, with locations across the US and globally. One of the leading Looney Tunes design artists for merchandise was longtime animation character designer and story man, Mr. Dan Haskett. Here is a series of three holiday-themed concept drawings that he developed for Marvin the Martian merchandise. In one, Marvin is leading Christmas carols with Duck Dodger and other classic WB characters. One has Marvin in a Santa outfit and a sled, with a team of Martians leading the sleigh; and one has Marvin and K-9 decorating a Martian creature like a Christmas tree. These are round designs, possibly for collector's plates, with artwork in graphite on 8.5" x 11" paper. Each one is hand-signed by Dan Haskett. Original concept artwork for this store's merchandise is considered very rare. Three Marvin the Martian drawings in this lot! Minor handling wear. Very Good condition.
