Louis the Bear Concept Art Print by Ken Anderson (Walt Disney, c. 1970). Louis Prima made a big impression as King Louie in The Jungle Book, and this unmade film was intended to cash in on his popularity. Sadly, the project fell through, with parts later salvaged in The Rescuers. Here is an amazing original concept piece with Louis the Bear and his band, created by Ken Anderson (1909 - 1993), longtime artist and writer with Disney; he was Art Director on Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. The art is a black and white print that has been hand-colored with artist's color markers. The print has an image size of 11.5" x 14"; the paper has been mounted to a backing board measuring 14.5" x 15.5". Very Good condition with minor handling wear. From the Joe Hale Collection.
