DescriptionLittle Hiawatha Color Model Painting (Walt Disney, 1937). The Big Bad Wolf straps on a girdle as part of his disguise in this original concept drawing from the sequel to Disney's hit Silly Symphony The Three Little Pigs. Front and back poses of Big Bad in full-figure and full color are showcased in this exceptional graphite and colored pencil rendering attributed to legendary Disney artist Ferdinand Horvath. The artwork is on 12 field 5-peghole paper numbered 189 in the upper right corner. It's a wonderful pair of images of the Big Bad Wolf who holds the distinction of being the only other recurring villain in Disney theatrical shorts besides Peg Leg Pete. The piece shows minor handling, edge wear and light toning from a previous framing. Condition is Very Good.
