Jonny Quest Concept Drawing Group of 4 plus MGM Drawing (Hanna-Barbera/MGM, 1955-64). Jonny Quest was designed and created by comic book artist Doug Wildey. It premiered on Prime Time on ABC on a Friday evening, 9/18/64. This is a group of five extremely rare concept art pieces for this groundbreaking show. The lot includes impressive graphite drawings of downtown buildings (this one is actually from the Tex Avery short, The First Bad Man, from 1955), the Quest's Station Wagon, an old-time car design, and two marker concept drawings which showcase the interior of the plane. Development/concept artwork from this series is rare. All are on 12 field animation paper. All have minor handling and margin wear and tears. Good overall condition.
