Jonny Quest Baron Heinrich von Frohleich Early Character Concept Illustration by Doug Wildey (Hanna-Barbera, 1964). This stern-looking German officer is believed to be an early version of the villain from Episode 10, "Shadow of the Condor," from the original run of Jonny Quest. Comic strip/comic book artist Doug Wildey (1922 - 1994) was responsible for the look of all characters on this animated action-adventure series, the first from Hanna-Barbera. The art is in ink and watercolor on illustration board measuring 19.25" x 14.75", with a huge image measuring approximately 14.5" x 10". Mr. Wildey added his familiar signature box in the lower right of the figure. Condition is Very Good with minor handling and edge wear.Auction Info
