    Johnny Tremain Concept Art by Peter Ellenshaw (Walt Disney, 1957). A terrific piece of concept art by Peter Ellenshaw (1913 – 2007) the production designer for the Walt Disney live action film, Johnny Tremain. In the story, Johnny Tremain is drawn into the Revolutionary War, and becomes a patriot fighting to free the colonies from England. Concept art is a form of illustration used to convey an idea for use in films, before it is put into the final product. The artwork, showing the stable yard of the Africa Queen Inn, was rendered on 15.5" x 12.5" board and hand-signed by the Oscar winning visual effects artist, Peter Ellenshaw. The art shows normal edge wear from normal production use. Minor damage to the corners, easily framed out. Overall condition is Very Good.
