    Description

Henry & Me Character Design Drawings by Dan Haskett Group of 28 (Reveal Animation, 2014). The New York Yankees are prominently featured in this story of a young cancer victim named Jack who is magically transported through time by a mysterious man named Henry (with the help of some powerful medicine, administered by a nurse voiced by Cyndi Lauper), where he meets Babe Ruth and many other baseball superstars, and even gets to pinch-hit for Mickey Mantle. This lot includes a series of tight character design drawings of Babe Ruth (five different), Henry (noted here as "Lou Gehrig" with seven drawings including a turnaround); George Steinbrenner (three different), plus other characters, mostly children in turnaround images). Art is in graphite and blue pencil on 8.5" x 11" paper, with Haskett signatures on all. Fine overall condition.
