Hanna-Barbera and the Indy 500 Concept Art (Hanna-Barbera, 1976). This is the original artwork by Hanna-Barbera Studios for a Hanna-Barbera Themed Float in the 1976 Indianapolis 500 Parade and it was also used for a poster promoting the event. The piece is a beautifully detailed, hand-inked illustration over graphite and blue pencil on a 16 field animation sheet applied to backing board and covered by a clear sheet of Mylar. It features incredible images of The Great Grape Ape, Scooby-Doo, Fred Flintstone, Huckleberry Hound, Yogi Bear, Hokey Wolf, and Quick Draw McGraw. Overall image is a whopping 13.25" x 11.5" and showcases the far-reaching appeal of the Hanna-Barbera's stable of characters. This is a very rare, one-of-a-kind piece of studio artwork. It shows minor handling and edge wear; otherwise, condition is Fine.
