    Description

Hank Porter Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Newspaper Strip Preliminary Original Art (Walt Disney, 1937).
Hank Porter's newspaper strip adaptation of the classic first Disney feature film is as charming as they come. Here is a preliminary penciled version of the sequence where the Evil Queen has transformed herself into the Old Hag, and has the poisoned apple ready; meanwhile, Snow White lets the dwarfs know they must wash up before eating. Great image of the Old Hag in panel one, as she lifts up the apple with a reflected skull! The graphite on paper art has an image area of approximately 27" x 5.5", matted with an overall size of 35.5" x 14". Very Good condition with minor handling and light toning.
