Hank Porter "Ant" World War II Insignia Preliminary Design Art (Walt Disney, c. 1940s). Hank Porter's World War II Insignia designs were created for every imaginable department in the Armed Forces. This is a winged ant used for US Fleet Hospital #112. We love the image of the ant rushing to the rescue with his medical bag and stretcher, within a large (red) cross. He's also flashing a "V for Victory" sign. Graphite with blue pencil on 8" x 8" onionskin paper. Character size is 5". This is one great Hank Porter original! Minor handling wear. In Very Good condition.
