    Hank Porter 349th Infantry Company C WWII Disney Devil Insignia Concept Art (Walt Disney, 1940). Mesmerizing preliminary design artwork for a Disney World War II insignia from the hand of Disney artist Hank Porter (1900-1951) for the unit that fought against Germany in Italy during World War II in 1944 and 1945. The 7" image is in graphite with great red and yellow flame highlights on trimmed vellum-like paper measuring 7.5" x 9.5". This rare devil design insignia that can be seen on pages 200 and 201 of the new Disney insignia book Characters of Military. An impressive image from one of Disney's most talented artists of the time. In Fine condition.
