    Gulliver's Travels Concept Painting (Fleischer Studios, 1939). This animated feature film, which was Fleischer Studio's response to Disney's Snow white, opens with the shipwreck of sailor Lemuel Gulliver This is an original concept painting of that fateful event. It's a stirring image rendered in gouache on 10" x 8.5" watercolor paper depicting Gulliver's ship being struck by lightning with a tiny yet detailed figure of the character swimming to shore. It was to be Max Fleischer's masterpiece and Paramount Studios gave him the opportunity after seeing the box office success of Snow White. No effort was spared in the making of this film Fleischer classic and original one-of-a-kind works of art like this are rarer seldom come up for sale. There is tape residue along the edges and glue on back of the painting. Condition is Very Good.
