Foofur Concept Drawings by Walt Peregoy Group of 4 (Hanna-Barbera, 1986). Foofur premiered on NBC on 9/13/86. The show was created by Phil Melendez and took place in a town called Willowby. Long after originally leaving Hanna-Barbera, the great Walt Peregoy (1925 - 2015) returned to work on this series. This is an unbelievable set of four rare background concept drawings of the streets of Willowby, all done in detailed graphic on 25" x 10.5" pan animation sheets. In Mr. Peregoy's handwriting, he labels them "Exterior Flower Shop and Café", "Foofur Falls in Love," "Fish Market -- Nothing to Sneeze At" and "0151-86-02". Amazing detail in Walt's distinctive style. Artwork takes up 15" in each detailed piece. Very rare to see artwork from this show, and there are four magnificent pieces in this lot! Fine condition.
