    Description

Flintstones Cocoa Pebbles TV Commercial Concept Art (Hanna-Barbera, c.1980-90s). Cocoa Pebbles and Fruity Pebbles are brands of breakfast cereal introduced by Post Consumer Brands in 1971 featuring characters from the animated series The Flintstones as spokestoons. Here's a fruity-fun-fact: The original working names for the companion cereals were Flint Chips and Rubble Stones. In this lot is an extraordinary piece of concept art from a TV commercial campaign for Cocoa Pebbles. One of the best examples of concept art that we have seen for The Flintstones. The art was rendered using color marker on 12 field animation paper. Nice large image of 9" x 6". Overall condition is Fine.

I have done a preliminary analysis and the total of the hammer prices was $67,550. With BP, the final figure was $80,722.25. That is against the total insurance value of $34,785 or 2.32 x ‘pre-auction estimate’. Incredible, really, so a big thanks.
