DescriptionFantasia "The Pastoral Symphony" Concept Art (Walt Disney, 1940). Some of the story development on Fantasia for "The Pastoral Symphony" section were done by Otto Englander, Webb Smith, Erdman Penner, Joseph Sabro, Bill Peet, and George Stallings. The Character Development for this section was overseen by James Bodrero, John Miller, and Lorna Soderstrom. This is a fantastic early development concept art piece from "The Pastoral Symphony." It shows two Centaurs vying for the affection of a young Centaurette. This detailed study is drawn in graphite on 12 field 5-peghole animation paper. This stunning artwork was sold through the Courvoisier Art Program. The WDP stamp is on the artwork in bottom right corner. This visually stunning piece of artwork is in a frame of 16" x 13" under Plexiglas with a mat opening of 11" x 8". Frame is sold as-is. Artwork has minor handling. Overall condition is Very Good.
