    Description

Fantasia "Rite of Spring" Dinosaur Courvoisier Concept Art (Walt Disney, 1940). This stunning concept artwork for the "Rite of Spring" segment is a very rare Courvoisier piece of artwork. It bears the WDP stamp in the lower right. The original Courvoisier paperwork on the backside describes this as "Pre-Historic animals in pastel, setting the mood for Rites of Spring Seg. of which only 30 are available." The backside also indicates that Bob Steiner was the artist on this "Concert Feature" artwork. A handsome glass front frame houses this 13.5" x 10" pastel piece. The main dinosaur measures 8.5" tail to head. This is one of the largest Courvoisier concept art pieces we have ever come across. Stunning art and in Fine condition.
