Fantasia "Pastoral Symphony" Concept Drawing by Sylvia Holland (Walt Disney, 1940). Sylvia Holland (1900-1974) joined Disney in 1938 and was one of the first female artists to join the Walt Disney Studio artistic staff. She had an enormous influence on the making of Fantasia. Her concept artwork was used extensively for the "Pastoral Symphony" as well as the "Waltz of the Flowers" sections within this film. This is a piece of Sylvia Holland original concept artwork for the "Pastoral Symphony" section. Art is in pastels on 12 field 5-peghole animation sheet, with a nice display of unicorns and a boy Pegasus. Image sizes are 4" and 5". Minor handling and edge wear. Very Good condition.
