    Fantasia "Night on Bald Mountain/Ave Maria" Courvoisier Concept Art Signed by Walt Disney (Walt Disney, 1940). "Night on Bald Mountain/Ave Maria" is the final segment of Fantasia. Deems Taylor introduces it as the conflict between the profane (represented by Night on Bald Mountain) and the sacred (represented by Ave Maria). In this lot is a superb concept piece from the final segment of Fantasia. The painting measures approximately 9" x 8", framed with a round mat opening of 6.5". The frame measures 15" x 16". Frame sold as-is. Walt Disney hand-signed the mat which also has a WDP stamp indicating that this piece initially sold at the Courvoisier Gallery in San Francisco. Included is a Certificate of Authenticity issued by Walt Disney Productions. Original artwork from Walt Disney's masterpiece of film making, hand-signed by Walt Disney is arguably very rare and highly sought after by discerning collectors of animation art.
