    Fantasia Mickey Mouse Character Design Drawing by Fred Moore Original Art (Walt Disney, 1940). Fred Moore (1911-1952) was a great animator who was inducted as a Disney Legend in 1995. He is considered one of the greatest Disney animators of all time. His "Freddie's Girl" drawings are legendary. He was the man behind the redesign of Mickey Mouse, done for "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" in 1938. Here is a pure piece of Disney animation history -- a Fred Moore character design study of Mickey Mouse as the Sorcerer's Apprentice for Fantasia. There are two images of Mickey on 12 field 5-peghole animation paper. Art is in graphite with red and green pencil highlights for this pair of 5" images. This is the classic design that is still in use for Mickey Mouse today! Minor handling and edge wear. Very Good condition.
