    Fantasia Faun Concept Drawing by Joe Rinaldi Original Art (Walt Disney, 1940). Famed Disney story man Joe Rinaldi's first work at Walt Disney Studio was on Fantasia. This is a rare Joe Rinaldi (1914 - 1974) original concept art of an adult male faun. This was for the "Pastoral Symphony" section of Fantasia. It was originally part of the famed "Basmajian Art Collection." Great graphite and Conte crayon image measuring 7" on 12 field 5-peghole animation paper. Studio stamp is on back of the drawing and it lists J.Rinaldi as artist for "Concert Feature," dated Aug. 22, 1939. This was done for Sequence 4. Drawing is in a mat measuring 16" x 12" with an opening of 10" x 8". A Basmajian sticker of information is included. Minor handling and edge wear, overall condition is Good.
