    Description

Fantasia Chernabog Storyboard Drawing (Walt Disney, 1940). The face of the demonic God of the Night, Chernabog emerges through smoke and flames in this scene from the "Night on Bald Mountain" segment of Fantasia. This is an original storyboard panel created and used in the making of this groundbreaking Disney feature. The hand-drawn art is rendered in Conté crayon and measures 8" x 6" on 9.25" x 7.5" paper. It's a haunting portrait of this Disney villain and you can see a similar image about three and a half minutes into the segment as he conjures dancing flames in his palm. It's rare one-of-a-kind artwork from the early development stage in the making of this historic Disney classic film. The paper shows handling, pinholes and small stains in the two right corners. Condition is Very Good.
