    Eyvind Earle The History of Jazz Concept Paintings Group (c. early 1950s). A unique group of seven 5.5" x 3" concept/storyboard paintings related to the history of Jazz music, for a project Disney Studios had been working on since the mid-1940s; story number was 1727. These are similar to other background Color Key paintings Mr. Earle did at Disney. They are painted in gouache on board, with all seven mounted to a red backing board measuring 16" x 19.5", which includes a protective acetate overlay. A cover sheet is named "The History of Jazz," handwritten by Mr. Earle. These seven superb original Eyvind Earle mini-masterpieces are a delight, especially for music lovers! Minor handling and edge wear. Very Good condition.
