    Eyvind Earle Sleeping Beauty Princess Aurora Background Color Key Art (Walt Disney, 1959). Eyvind Earle was inducted as a Disney Legend in 2015. He worked at the Disney Studio from 1951 to 1959. It was his work on Sleeping Beauty that earned him his most praise and accolades. This is a stunning background Color Key/concept painting of Princess Aurora, days before she would turn 16, at her father's castle window. The stunning signature Eyvind Earle trees and sun are off in the distance. This painting has it all... Princess, castle, and highly stylized countryside; painted in gouache on board measuring 16" x 6". Signed in bottom right corner by Eyvind Earle (1916 - 2000). Minor handling and edge wear. Pinholes in corners. Very Good condition.
