    Description

    Eyvind Earle Sleeping Beauty Concept Painting (Walt Disney, 1959). One looks at this painting and has to ask "How is this possible?" It's a stunning concept/Color Key painting of Sleeping Beauty's castle as seen from the forest where Briar Rose lived. This magnificent gouache painting on board measures only 3" x 2" and yet the detail is marvelous. It depicts tree and landscape styles as well as the castle and is signed by the artist, Disney Legend Inductee and Art Director/Color Stylist for this film, Mr. Eyvind Earle (1916 - 2000). The art shows minor handling wear; otherwise condition is Very Good.
