    Eyvind Earle Sleeping Beauty Birthday Cake Concept/Color Key Painting (Walt Disney, 1959). "I will think what I thunk before... I'm going to get those wands!" says Meriwether after watching disastrous cake-baking results when Fauna tries to make a 16th birthday cake WITHOUT magic from their wands. This is a fun key scene for the three Good Fairies in this movie -- Fauna, Flora and Meriwether. Disney Legend Eyvind Earle (1916 - 2000) created this original concept art/Color Key painting of all three fairies using their wands to make the birthday cake. Great stylized interior of the cottage. Gouache on illustration board measuring 12" x 5.5". The painting is hand-signed by Eyvind Earle in bottom right corner. Tack holes in all four corners with minor handling and edge wear. In Very Good condition.
