Epic Mickey Computer Game Character Development Drawings Original Art by Carson Van Osten Group of 20 (Walt Disney, 2009-10). Mickey Mouse was brought into computer gaming in a big way in 2010, with the introduction of the computer game for Wii, Epic Mickey. The game was based on a theory of Mickey damaging a world created by Yen Sid, "Cartoon Wasteland." The game became very popular, with sequels launched in later years. This is a rare series of twenty character development drawings from the hand of Disney Longed Inductee, Mr. Carson Van Osten (1945 - 2015). Detailed drawings of the main villain were inspired from the Mickey Mouse 1933 short, The Mad Doctor. The Mad Doctor's assistants are gremlins, here called "Spatters." Amazing detail to these graphite drawings on onionskin paper measuring 9" x 12". The Mad Doctor drawings have incredible detail, revealing him to be a robot. Video game art, especially from Disney, is considered very rare. Minor handling and edge wear and tear, minor folds; overall Good condition. From the Carson Van Osten Archives.
