Doug Wildey Jonny Quest Concept Art Group of 8 (Hanna-Barbera, 1964). Doug Wildey has said that Milton Caniff's famous comic strip, Terry and the Pirates, had inspired the design and creation of Jonny Quest. This cartoon show looks like no other such production of its immediate time -- a groundbreaking effort, to say the least. This is a set of four Wildey character design sketch prints that were mounted to board for presentation to networks, sponsors, employees, and Hanna-Barbera executives. Board measurements are 15" x 9", 14" x 10", 14" x 12", and 15" x 14". Also included are four 14" x 20" oversized photographs of original Wildey conceptual art. Each one has a Hanna-Barbera sticker on the reverse. An illuminating look into the art of Doug Wildey and the creation of this monumental show. Minor handling and edge wear. In Fine condition.
