Doug Wildey Jonny Quest Concept and Pitch Pieces Group of 8 (Hanna-Barbera, 1964). On 9/18/64 in Prime Time, ABC premiered a ground-breaking action/adventure cartoon like no other... Jonny Quest! It was designed and created by Doug Wildey. The historic show had two more future series, two TV specials and three video games created from this original show. Here we have the original network presentation boards used to pitch the show to sponsors, advertisers, staff, and H-B Executives. They are comprised of large photographic stat prints on presentation boards. There are stunning character design stat images of Jonny, Hadji, Race, Doctor Benton Quest, and Jezebel Jade on 20" x 30" boards. Three of the boards showcase scenes with blown up storyboards and concept art. These boards are approximately 30" x 20", and two of the storyboards are 23" x 19". All of the artwork is printed from original art by Doug Wildey. These are extremely rare early development pieces for this beloved show. Minor handling and edge wear. There are eight large pieces in this lot, but note that they are not original art, they are all stats. Fine
