Description

Donald Duck Inker Test Cel (Walt Disney, c. 1930s/40s) Walt Disney's short-fused fowl, Donald Duck, showcases the many facets of his character in this excellent original hand-inked test cel. Crafted about 60 years ago, this piece was created by an artist of Disney's acclaimed ink and paint department from an early model sheet of Donald Duck. Featuring nine inked renderings of Donald in his full outfit, three without outfit/arms, five of his face in profile without his mouth, nine facial expressions with mouth, and five renderings of Donald's foot. With packed details in every inch of the 11.5" x 8.5" cel, this is a remarkable artifact showcases the practice of Disney inkers used to refine their skills. The cel has light handling wear with small spots of linework wear throughout, minor curling, and smudges around the edges. Overall, this vintage piece is in Very Good condition.
