Donald Duck Dots Activity Book Cover Concept Painting by Frank McSavage Original Art (Walt Disney/Whitman, 1954). Donald hops from dot to dot while riding a giant pencil, in this cool preliminary cover painting by Scottish-born comic book artist and Disney animator Frank McSavage (1903 - 1998). The art is in gouache and graphite on illustration board measuring 9" x 12.5"; the image size is approximately 5.75" x 8". This concept design is very close to the published version (a color print of the published activity book is included).
