Donald Duck Concept Drawings by Cecil Beard Group of 9 (Walt Disney, c. 1960s). Cecil Beard worked at Disney Studio, Columbia, George Pal, UPA, and Cambria Productions, ending up doing stories for Western Publishing. He did Disney, Hanna-Barbera, and Warner Brothers comic book stories in the 1960s and '70s for the US and Europe. This is a stylish set of nine 3-panel (one of nine is 2-panel) concept drawings for a Donald Duck goes fishing story. He seems to use a sexy Hula girl bait lure! Graphite with green and red pencil highlights. Three panel pages are 14" x 4.5" each. Very nicely drawn. Minor handling and edge wear. Good condition. From the Cecil Beard Archives.
