Dog and Cat Character Concept Drawings/Color Models Group of 6 (Warner Brothers, 1940s). Presented is a collection of six original character concept drawings created at Leon Schlesinger Studio. These beautifully rendered character studies feature both male and female dogs dressed in period costumes and a pair of sleeping cat drawings. All but one of the graphite drawings is embellished with colored pencil. Each measure approximately 4" tall on 12 field 2-peghole paper. These are magnificent one-of-a-kind pieces created in the development of an early Warner Brothers color cartoon. The collection of drawings show light handling, edge ware and varying degrees of toning. Condition is Very Good. From the Rev Chaney Archives.
