Disneyland Collector's Plate Design Art Group of 4 (Walt Disney, c. 1980s-90s). Disney's beloved theme park is the subject of this group of original rough layout designs, created for special collector's plates. The first is a Pirates of the Caribbean dock scene, with fireworks going off in the background; it's in graphite on onionskin paper, with a circular border diameter of 12". Next is an image of the Haunted Mansion in graphite on onionskin; figures of Tinker Bell, Donald Duck with Goofy, and Phineas the Hitchhiking Ghost are pasted-on prints. Image diameter is 11.75"; art is taped to a backing board for presentation. The Jungle Cruse is featured on the third piece; the art is in graphite on onionskin, with a 12" diameter. The figures of Mickey, Goofy, Tinker Bell, the elephants, hippo, and boat, plus the head portion of the snake curled around a tree, are all pasted-on prints. Finally, we have a charming Christmas scene featuring Mickey and Pluto helping Santa Claus; this piece is all art, in graphite and blue pencil on onionskin, with a 12" diameter. Conditon is Good to Very Good.
