    Description

Disney's Adventures of the Gummi Bears Character Design Original Art by Willie Ito Group (Walt Disney, 1985). The Gummi Bears show premiered on 9/14/85 on NBC, where it ran for three seasons, and then moved to ABC for a fourth. This is a rare bit of Disney Gummi Bear history: a series of rare original character design drawings of the Gummi Bears from the hand of legendary animator and character designer Willie Ito. His final hand-colored pasted-up model sheet of early designs has six images of 6" pasted to board of 16" x 12". The lot also has seven pages of his early character designs on paper measuring 14" x 12", taped to 16 field animation paper. One design is alone on 11" x 6" paper. Each character design page has approximately six or seven images. Each sheet is hand-signed by Willie Ito. Very early look into the character development of this show. Minor handling and edge wear. Very Good condition.
