Cinderella Concept Painting by Mary Blair Original Art (Walt Disney, 1950). "A luminous creature appeared beside Cinderella, a heavenly creature, a Fairy Godmother. I am here my dear. She was an orphan no more." This appears in Cynthia Rylant's children's book Walt Disney's Cinderella, published in 2007. It was fully illustrated with Cinderella artwork, from the hand of Mary Blair. This is an outstanding Mary Blair original concept painting of Cinderella and the Fairy Godmother. It appears that her Fairy Godmother is about to say the words,"Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo!" The art is in gouache, on board measuring 16" x 8". Outstanding image of both Cinderella and her Fairy Godmother, with beautiful pixie dust emanating from the end of the Fairy Godmother's wand. Important scene, and stunning piece of artwork from Mary Blair. Pinholes in the corners, and minor handling wear. Very Good condition.Auction Info
