Catfish Bend Concept Drawings Original Art Group of 2 (Walt Disney, 1978). Ken Anderson (1909-1992) headed up this film project. It was slated to be a feature-length animated film, based on the book by Ben Lucien Burman, about various swamp animals living among the banks of the Mississippi river. Walt Peregoy, Marc Davis, and Ken Anderson were heavily involved in this proposed project. Here is a pair of stunning Anderson original concept art pieces for this film. Drawing one is a concept drawing in ink on 10" x 7" paper, of a Fox cheating during his card game, with help from under the table. Pinholes in the corners. Drawing #2 is the exact same image, but color has been added. This piece is matted with an opening of 9.5" x 7", and an overall mat size of 13" x 10". Pinholes are also in the corners. Ken Anderson was inducted as a Disney Legend in 1991! Minor handling wear on each. Very Good condition. From the Joe Hale Archives.
