Description

Campbell Grant Song of the South Character Study Concept Drawing (Walt Disney, 1946). Unusual character study of a politically-incorrect "pickaninny" porcupine that was at one time considered for Song of the South. This is from the hand of Campbell Grant (1909 - 1992). Art is in graphite, gouache and charcoal on 12 field 5-peghole animation paper. Character is 4.5". A rare look into early character development of this film. In Very Good condition, with minor handling and edge wear.
