Description

Caesar's Palace Expansion Project Original Exterior Concept/Pitch Art by Eric Heschong for Landmark Entertainment (LEG, 1993). This impressive original concept/pitch art was created by Landmark Entertainment Group for the early 1990s Caesars Palace expansion project. Hand-painted in gouache on a 33" x 15.5" illustration board by acclaimed artist Eric Heschong (1950-2013), the piece offers a dramatic view of the resort's grand exterior, highlighting the iconic walk up to Caesars and its famous fountain. Landmark lists Caesars Palace among its longtime clients, having been involved in extensive renovations that included the exterior facades of the North and South Towers, the entryway, and significant portions of the interior. This rendering exemplifies Landmark's approach-elevating a world-class resort by merging architectural elegance with theatrical spectacle to redefine the guest arrival experience. Eric Heschong, a master of presentation art, was known for his richly detailed gouache renderings that visualized Landmark's most ambitious projects. His career included painting cartoon backgrounds for Hanna-Barbera, scenic painting at CBS, and key concept contributions for both Universal Studios and Walt Disney Imagineering. This rare original stands as a testament to Landmark's creative impact on Las Vegas's most legendary resort. Presented in Very Good condition, with minor corner damage.
