    Bambi Title Card Concept Art by Les Clark (Walt Disney, 1942). Here is an early concept title card painted by Disney Legend and one of Walt's "Nine Old Men," Les Clark. The card reads, "Bambi -- Story of a Deer." This is painted in oils on board, and the skill and detail evident in its creation are astounding. The autumnal color palette is subtle and dark and a delicately rendered stag appears in a clearing just below the hand-lettered title. This is truly a one-of-a-kind work of art. The piece is framed with a mat opening of 8" x 10", in a frame measuring 19" x 21.25". Condition is Fine.
