    Description

Bambi Faline Animator's Study (Walt Disney, 1942). In Frank Thomas and Ollie Johnston's book Bambi: The Story and the Film they write, "In Marc Davis' drawings of Faline, even the skeptics saw the possibilities of deer as a sympathetic main character". This is a rare animator's study of Faline on 12 field 5-peghole animation paper. Four head shots showing a range of emotion, in graphite with colored pencil. Rare concept artwork for a landmark film. In Fine condition.
