Bambi Concept/Layout Drawing by Marc Davis (Walt Disney, 1942). "YOU!" says an embarrassed Bambi, after Feline has cause him to fall in the water behind the tall foliage. This is an outstanding Marc Davis story/concept drawing from that very scene which is the moment when a young Bambi meets the object of his affection, little Faline. The 5" tall Bambi is drawn in graphite and Conte crayon on trimmed 12 field 5-peghole animation paper and the words under the image read "Gets up dripping and scowling fiercely." There is a studio production stamp is on the bottom right corner and it's dated January 25, 1940. This is a one-of-a-kind drawing of the title character from a Disney feature film by one of "Walt's Nine Old Men." Very Good condition.
