Bambi Bambi and Thumper Concept Sketch Signed by Milt Kahl (Walt Disney, 1942). Bambi and his little pal Thumper meet in this original concept drawing by the great Disney animator Milt Kahl (1909 -- 1978). Once referred to as the Animation Michelangelo, he was often responsible for the final look of Disney characters and worked on virtually every feature film the studio produced from 1936 to 1976. He became a Disney Legend inductee posthumously in 1989. This is an original concept painting by Milt Kahl rendered in graphite and painted in gouache of Thumper and Bambi. The image measures 6" x 5.5" on 9" x 7" paper. Milt Kahl dedicated and signed the artwork in the lower right. It's a unique piece featuring two of Disney's most beloved character drawn by one of "Walt's Nine Old Men". The piece shows handling, edge wear and toning. Condition is Very Good.
